Background

EO Production makes launch films for startups: fundraising announcements, product launches, rebrands. Under a partnership with a16z, EO co-produces these films with the a16z media team. Clients include Glimpse, TestBox, Lio, Pensive, Reducto, Laravel and Aside.

What I made

Each film is delivered whole: concept, shoot, edit, grade, delivery. The design team adds the layer a film crew does not produce: product UI in motion, numbers that animate rather than sit as stills, titles and chapter systems, end cards.

Two from the slate

I directed the TwelveLabs Pegasus 1.5 launch without cutting it; the account has run since 2024, from thumbnails to the sizzle reel to team photography.

How the work is split

I decide what each film needs from the design team, who makes it, and whether it ships, across work cut by in-house designers, freelancers and vendor editors. The films themselves are crew work, and the credits stay with the people who shot and cut them.

Seven client films run on one visual standard and play live at eo.team.
