Problem
RLWRLD's YouTube surface had grown video by video: robot demos, session recordings and launch films sitting side by side with no shared visual system or hierarchy. The relationship started on set, with their fundraising film shoot in January 2026 and three days of filming for the Lightyear launch in April, before the channel work began in July.
Approach
One subject holds the system together: the robot hand. Demo thumbnails were rebuilt to foreground the hand and the task, with tighter titles. Session videos were redesigned as an archival series rather than competing with the demos. Playlists and the channel home were reorganized around that hierarchy, and the banner was rebuilt. Along the way I also policed brand fit, pushing back on a moons-and-stars particle treatment because it was wrong for RLWRLD's mood.

Unboxing IP
For the Wuji-2 robot-hand unboxing format I set the direction, not just the assets: a host-flanking-arm layout as the format's visual grammar, intro imagery pushed toward sci-fi rather than kids'-show energy, colors held to RLWRLD's key color, and a dedicated thumbnail photo shoot with the hand held up against real expressions.

Outcome
The redesigned surface is live. Below, the channel home and published thumbnails as they appear on YouTube today, including the Humanoids Summit episode.
